A hat trick by Philip Falkof was the highlight in Kings' 3-2 win against the Atlanta Knights. Falkof got on the scoresheet 19:53 into the first period. He then added goals at 23:32 into the first and at 20:33 into the second.The South Shore Kings' offense rang up 33 shots on Atlanta's net. South Shore capitalized on the Knights' penalties, netting two goals while skating with a man advantage. In addition, South Shore received assists from Corey Flynn and JB Sweeney, who each chipped in one and Daniel Clifford and Evan Jacques, who contributed two a piece. Atlanta was helped by Cole Stallard, who registered two goals. Stallard scored the first of his two goals at 29 seconds into the second period to make the score 2-1 South Shore. Harris m provided the assist. Stallard's next tally made the score 2-2 with 16:28 left in the second period. Rick Fiorillo picked up the assist. James Dunn made 22 saves for the Kings on 24 shots. Lucas Thurston rejected 30 shots on goal for the Knights. Atlanta ended with 19 minutes in penalty time with two minors and one major and had no power play opportunities. The Knights ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Bradley Harley was ejected from the game.
