Lucas Thurston made 34 saves to complete the shutout and led the Atlanta Knights to a 1-0 win against the New Hampshire Jr Monarchs.

Jon Gibson's game-winning tally was the game's only goal. It came at 7:50 in the second period. Bradley Harley assisted on the tally.

Atlanta was led by Gibson, who registered one goal.

The Knights could not produce up to they normal offensive output. Atlanta puts an average of 3.7 pucks into the net per game.

New Hampshire stifled the Knights' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Jr Monarchs' offense operated below they season average. New Hampshire averages 5.3 goals per game. Atlanta was unable to stop the Jr Monarchs from sending pucks towards the net, and New Hampshire eventually piled up 34 shots on goal.

The Knights incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Cole Burack rejected 24 shots on goal for the Jr Monarchs. New Hampshire incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
