South Shore outlasts Florida Junior Blades, 4-2

The game between the South Shore Kings and Florida Junior Blades was tight through all 60 minutes, but in the end South Shore emerged with a 4-2 win.

Each team kept the other at bay throughout the game, and Philip Falkof secured the win for the Kings with a goal in the second period.

Evan Jacques was all over the ice for South Shore, as he tallied two goals and one assist in the win. Jacques scored the first of his two goals at 22:32 into the first period to make the score 2-1 South Shore. Daniel Clifford provided the assist. Jacques' next tally made the score 4-2 South Shore with 8:52 left in the second period. Falkof assisted on the tally.

The Kings stifled Florida Junior Blades' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. South Shore forced Florida Junior Blades goalie Jacob Carter to work between the pipes, taking 36 shots.

South Shore also got points from Falkof, who also tallied one goal and two assists. South Shore also got a goal from Nicholas Bertoni as well. More assists for South Shore came via Paul Marino, who had one.
