South Shore downs Boston Bandits in overtime, 4-3 (OT)

Paul Marino gave the South Shore Kings a 4-3 (OT) victory over Boston Bandits when he scored 3:50 into the extra period.

South Shore's penalty kill excelled, as the Kings gave up one goal despite allowing seven power plays.

South Shore was sparked by Marino, who grabbed one goal.

The Kings forced Boston Bandits goalie Brett Smith to work between the pipes, taking 34 shots. South Shore's penalty killing units received substantial work throughout the game as the Kings finished with 18 penalty minutes.

South Shore also got points from Evan Jacques, who also tallied one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Daniel Clifford also scored for South Shore. Other players who recorded assists for South Shore were William Cara-Donna, Connor Johnson, Kyle Johnson, Paul Wagner, and Owen Campbell, who each chipped in one.

Boston Bandits kept South Shore's goalie busy throughout the game, and James Dunn made 36 saves on 39 shots. Boston Bandits struggled to stay out of the sin bin throughout the game as it finished the game with 24 penalty minutes for five opposing power plays.

Boston Bandits was helped by Thomas Daniels, who racked up one goal. Daniels scored 12:04 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Boston Bandits. Matthew Grzybinski provided the assist. Boston Bandits also got a goal from Brandon Seal as well. In addition, Boston Bandits received assists from Connor Court, who had one.

Brett Smith made 30 saves for Boston Bandits on 34 shots.
