Joshua DeLezenne was all over the ice for Florida Eels, as he tallied two goals and two assists in Florida Eels' 6-3 win over the Potomac Patriots. DeLezenne found the back of the net 15 seconds into the second period to make the score 4-1 Florida Eels and again while 24:30 into the second to make the score 6-3 Florida Eels.Florida Eels found itself short handed often, totaling 22 penalty minutes and allowing 12 power plays. Florida Eels also got points from Reid Halabi, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Others who scored for Florida Eels included Christian Johansen, who had one and Brian Dennerlein, who had two. In addition, Florida Eels received assists from Max Mazzullo, who had one. Potomac stifled Florida Eels' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Patriots were led by Miles Miller, who finished with one goal and one assist. Miller scored on the power play 5:17 into the first period to make the score 2-1 Florida Eels. An interference penalty on Johansen had put Potomac on the power play. Jeffrey Egan assisted on the tally. Potomac also got a goal from Tyler Nolan as well. Florida Eels registered zero goals on four power play opportunities. The Patriots ended with 25 minutes in penalty time with five minors and one major. Potomac ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Kyle Powers was ejected from the game. |
