The Maksymum Junior Hockey (Rochester) tried to dig themselves out of a three-goal hole, but the Adirondack Junior Wings held on for a 4-2 victory. A goal by Michael McDougall put Adirondack up 4-1 in the third period, but Maksymum pulled to within two on Daniel Goldstein's tally 19:33 into the third period. The Junior Wings were paced by Matt State, who had one goal and one assist. State scored 19:32 into the second period to make the score 3-1 Adirondack. Shane Kanaly picked up the assist. Adirondack additionally got points from Kanaly, who also racked up one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Sam Vincent also scored for Adirondack. More assists for Adirondack came via Andrew Bourdeau, Cam Shepardson, and Jarrett Distasi, who each chipped in one. The Junior Hockey (Rochester)'s offense rang up 52 shots on Adirondack's net. Maksymum was helped by Kevin DiMagno, who registered one goal. DiMagno scored on the power play 19:48 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Maksymum. The Junior Hockey (Rochester) earned a power play opportunity when Andrew Mundweiler was put in the box for slashing. Dylan Versage assisted on the tally. Maksymum also got points from Goldstein, who also tallied one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. In addition, Maksymum received assists from William Holbrook and Seth Giles, who contributed one a piece. Chet Tooker recorded 50 saves for the Junior Wings. Adirondack totaled 15 minutes in penalty time with five minors and one major and went 1-for-2 on the power play. Ryan Morey made 15 saves for Maksymum on 18 shots. The Junior Hockey (Rochester) totaled 14 minutes in penalty time with two minors and two majors and went 1-for-5 on the power play.
