Junior Bruins falls to New Hampshire in overtime, 2-1 (OT)Tri-Town Rink Sun, Dec 09, 2012 Story by Narrative Science.
Ross Mandigo gave the New Hampshire Jr Monarchs a 2-1 (OT) victory over Junior Bruins when he scored 2:20 into the extra period. New Hampshire's Cole Burack was a brick wall in net, as he came up with 34 saves and let only one puck past him. Burack certainly lowered his goals against average, which was 2.04 entering the contest. The Jr Monarchs were led by Mandigo, who finished with one goal. New Hampshire excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in five chances. The Jr Monarchs were held below their usual level of production. New Hampshire averages 5.3 goals per game. New Hampshire also got points from Shane Tracy, who also tallied one goal and one assist. In addition, New Hampshire received assists from Christopher Moquin, who had one. Junior Bruins' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three New Hampshire power plays. Junior Bruins could not produce up to it normal offensive output.
