Florida Junior Blades uses big second period to beat Florida Eels, 9-3

Florida Junior Blades used a four-goal second period to put away Florida Eels, 9-3.

Joshua Koerner had one goal and two assists to lead Florida Junior Blades. Koerner scored 3:09 into the second period to make the score 2-0 Florida Junior Blades. Troy Degler assisted on the tally.

Florida Eels' 10 penalties came back to haunt it, as Florida Eels let up five goals while on the penalty kill.

Other players who recorded assists for Florida Eels were Matthew Kiesel and Patrick Daniels, who each chipped in one.

Marc Terriault recorded 41 saves for Florida Eels.
