Islanders wins tough contest against Bay State, 4-3

The game between Islanders and the Bay State Breakers was tight through all 60 minutes, but in the end Islanders emerged with a 4-3 win.

Each team kept the other at bay throughout the game, and David Wilcox secured the win for Islanders with a goal in the third period.

Islanders' offense rang up 43 shots on Bay State's net.

Islanders additionally got points from William Platt, who also tallied one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Islanders also got a goal from Keith Barnaby as well. Other players who recorded assists for Islanders were Christopher Maksut, Joshua Vernot, Christopher Gravelle, Justin Fisher, and Thomas Missert, who each chipped in one.

Islanders was unable to stop the Breakers from sending pucks towards the net, and Bay State eventually piled up 35 shots on goal.

The Breakers were led by Gavin Yates, who had one goal and two assists. Yates scored 14:55 into the second period to make the score 2-2. Bradley Power picked up the assist. Bay State also got points from Ryan ODonnell, who also finished with one goal and one assist and Power, who also registered one goal and one assist.

Michael Kitts made 32 saves for Islanders on 35 shots. Islanders incurred 38 minutes in penalty time with four minors. Bay State's Matthew Farrell stopped 39 shots out of the 43 that he faced. The Breakers incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with two minors.
