Junior Bruins downs Islanders in overtime, 2-1 (OT)

Junior Bruins pulled out a 2-1 (OT) overtime victory over Islanders on a clutch goal by Zach Koonce.
Junior Bruins was sparked by Koonce, who registered one goal. Koonce scored on the power play 23 seconds into overtime to make the score 2-1 Junior Bruins. Junior Bruins had gained a power play chance when Cody Reagan was whistled for tripping. Bryan Carter picked up the assist.
Junior Bruins put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Islanders to score on any of its three power plays. Junior Bruins could not produce up to it normal offensive output. Junior Bruins averages 4.6 goals per game.
