Philadelphia rips Adirondack, 7-1

The Philadelphia Revolution had a four-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 7-1 win over the Adirondack Junior Wings.

Chris Connor had two goals and one assist to lead Philadelphia. Connor scored the first of his two goals at 5:54 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Philadelphia. Justin Goldstein assisted on the tally. Connor's next tally made the score 5-0 Philadelphia with 2:11 left in the second period. Goldstein picked up the assist.

Adirondack was unable to stop the Revolution from sending pucks towards the net, and Philadelphia eventually piled up 36 shots on goal. The Revolution surpassed their usual scoring output this season. Philadelphia averages 4.9 goals per game.

Philadelphia additionally got points from Ross Asroff, who also registered one goal and one assist, Alex Dyer, who also had one goal and one assist, and Goldstein, who also racked up one goal and three assists to lead the team in points. Donald Willier also scored for Philadelphia. In addition, Philadelphia received assists from William Hayden and Zachary England, who each chipped in one and Travis Kauffman and Clint Aussprung, who contributed two a piece.

The Junior Wings did not challenge the opposing netminder, only getting 10 shots on net to force nine saves.

Jared Burch made nine saves for the Revolution on 10 shots. Philadelphia incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Adirondack's Crae Messer stopped 29 shots out of the 36 that he faced. The Junior Wings incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
