Palm Beach outlasts Florida Eels, 3-2Fort Myers Skatium Sat, Nov 17, 2012 Story by Narrative Science.
In a game where neither team could get a cushion, the Palm Beach Hawks escaped with a 3-2 victory over Florida Eels. No lead was more than one goal during the contest, and the winning goal was scored by Anthony Lerette at 5:51 of the third period. Palm Beach's penalty kill excelled, as the Hawks gave up zero goals despite allowing nine power plays. Palm Beach was paced by Lerette, who had one goal. The the Hawks penalty box was a popular destination as the team totaled eight minors and one major for 31 minutes in penalty time. Palm Beach had been averaging 16.0 minutes in penalties per game. The Hawks stifled Florida Eels' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Palm Beach also got a goal from Joseph Lambert as well. In addition, Palm Beach received assists from Shane Visnick, who had two and Michael Visnick and Brett Yochum, who contributed one a piece. Florida Eels could not produce up to it normal offensive output. Florida Eels puts an average of 4.3 pucks into the net per game.
