The game between the Atlanta Knights and the East Coast Eagles was tight through all 60 minutes, but in the end Atlanta emerged with a 6-4 win. The Knights gained the winning advantage on a goal by Cole Stallard 19:32 into the second period and hung on until final buzzer. Atlanta got the win on the strength of a great game by Stallard, who had two goals and one assist. The Knights forced East Coast goalie Ryan Taylor to work between the pipes, taking 39 shots. Atlanta gave up more goals than its normal season average. The Knights are averaging 1.6 goal against for the season. Atlanta additionally got points from Patrick MacDonald, who also tallied one goal and two assists. Others who scored for Atlanta included Ryan Dumond, who had one and Se Kim, who had two. Other players who recorded assists for Atlanta were Cale Massa, who had one and Jon Gibson and Kienan Fenton, who contributed two a piece. Atlanta was unable to stop the Eagles from sending pucks towards the net, and East Coast eventually piled up 33 shots on goal. The Eagles got an offensive boost from their blueliners, who contributed two goals during the game. East Coast was helped by Thomas Gilmartin, who racked up one goal and one assist. Gilmartin scored on the power play 4:55 into the second period to make the score 2-2. Zachary Mabie assisted on the tally. East Coast also got points from Bruce Chappell, who also grabbed one goal and one assist and Mabie, who also finished with one goal and one assist. Collin Duffy also scored for East Coast. In addition, East Coast received assists from Bailey King, who had one. Lucas Thurston rejected 29 shots on goal for the Knights. Atlanta incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Taylor recorded 33 saves for the Eagles. East Coast incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
