Tracy's hat trick boosts New Hampshire over Philadelphia, 7-2

Shane Tracy netted a hat trick to lead the New Hampshire Jr Monarchs over the Philadelphia Revolution, 7-2.

Tracy notched his first tally 2:09 into the first period. He then added goals at 4:02 into the first and at 11:42 into the second.

New Hampshire's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on five Philadelphia power plays.

New Hampshire additionally got points from Christopher Moquin, who also had one goal and one assist. New Hampshire also got a goal from Ross Mandigo as well. Other players who recorded assists for New Hampshire were Shane Earley, Nate OBrien, Nate Philbrick, and Davis Algra, who each chipped in one and Connor Merrick, Brendan Tazumi, and Daniel Nolte, who contributed two a piece.

Philadelphia was often in penalty trouble, totaling six minors and one major for 37 minutes in penalty time. The Revolution had been averaging 24.0 minutes in penalties per game. Philadelphia excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in six chances. The Revolution's offense operated below they season average. Philadelphia puts an average of 4.6 pucks into the net per game. The Revolution's normally stingy defense allowed more goals than usual. Philadelphia is averaging 2.3 goals against for the season.

The Jr Monarchs' Cole Burack stopped 15 shots out of the 17 that he faced. New Hampshire incurred 38 minutes in penalty time with nine minors. The Revolution's starting goalie, Justin Kirk, made one save and finished with the loss before he was taken out in favor of Jared Burch, who stopped 10 shots.
