Huge game by Bechtel boosts Philadelphia over Atlanta, 4-1

Connor Bechtel had two goals and two assists to lead the Philadelphia Revolution to a 4-1 victory over the Atlanta Knights.

Bechtel's tallies came at 8:41 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Philadelphia and 20:15 into the second to make the score 4-1 Philadelphia.

Philadelphia also got a goal from Daniel Coley as well. Other players who recorded assists for Philadelphia were Travis Kauffman and Ethan Weiss, who each chipped in one and Clint Aussprung and Alex Dyer, who contributed two a piece.

Atlanta was held below its usual level of production. The Knights average 4.1 goals per game. Atlanta's defense let in more goals than it usually has this year. The Knights average 1.5 goal allowed per game.

Atlanta was led by Se Kim, who scored the team's only goal. Kim scored on the power play 15:54 into the second period to make the score 3-1 Philadelphia. A hooking penalty on Aussprung had put the Knights on the power play. Jack Trischett provided the assist.

Griffin Strain recorded 17 saves for Philadelphia. The Revolution totaled 25 minutes in penalty time with five minors and one major and went 1-for-1 on the power play. For Philadelphia, Weiss was ejected from the game. Sean Davis rejected 22 shots on goal for Atlanta. The Knights incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
