The Brewster Bulldogs gutted out a close 4-3 win against the Hampton Roads Whalers.

Each team kept the other at bay throughout the game, and Sean Henderson secured the win for Brewster with a goal in the second period.

Henderson had two goals to lead the Bulldogs to victory.

Hampton Roads was unable to stop Brewster from sending pucks towards the net, and the Bulldogs eventually piled up 36 shots on goal.

Brewster also got a goal from Zach Cassano as well. In addition, Brewster received assists from Brad Alexander, who had two and Conor Thompson, Kevin McGee, Jonathan Lovorn, and Brian Schiff, who each chipped in one.

The Whalers were helped by Regen Cavanagh, who finished with one goal. Cavanagh scored 9:39 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Hampton Roads. Grant Phillips picked up the assist. Hampton Roads additionally got points from Michael Addison, who also grabbed one goal and one assist and Nathan Kanter, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Other players who recorded assists for Hampton Roads were Jeremy Wilson, who had one and Jonathon Jones, who had two.

Brandon Belz rejected 17 shots on goal for Brewster. The Bulldogs incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Tyler Kraft recorded 32 saves for Hampton Roads. The Whalers incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
