Behind a great game by Evan Jacques, who had one goal and two assists, the South Shore Kings defeated Junior Bruins, 7-2.

Jacques scored on the power play 16:09 into the first period to make the score 3-1 South Shore. A roughing penalty on Brian Fahey had put South Shore on the power play. Daniel Clifford provided the assist. Jacques dished an assist on Philip Falkof's goal that made the score 2-0 South Shore at 6:28 into the first period. He added another helper on Falkof's goal that made the score 5-2 South Shore at 10:23 into the second period.

The Kings pulled out the victory even though they were hit with 12 penalty minutes.

South Shore forced Junior Bruins goalie Sam Dargene to work between the pipes, taking 38 shots.

South Shore also got a goal from Beau Starrett as well. More assists for South Shore came via Paul Marino, William Sweezey, Corey Flynn, Kyle Johnson, and JB Sweeney, who contributed one a piece.

Junior Bruins could not produce up to it normal offensive output. Junior Bruins averages 4.2 goals per game. Junior Bruins gave up more goals than its normal season average. Junior Bruins averages 2.1 goals allowed per game.

Junior Bruins was led by Anthony Galloway, who tallied one goal and one assist. Galloway scored 17:28 into the first period to make the score 3-2 South Shore. Cam Cottam picked up the assist.
