Hintz leads Tampa Bay over Palm Beach, 11-0

Roope Hintz was all over the ice for the Tampa Bay Juniors, as he tallied five goals and one assist in Tampa Bay's 11-0 win over the Palm Beach Hawks.

Hintz got on the scoresheet 3:23 into the first period. He then added goals at 19:32 into the first, at 5:02 into the second, at 8:34 into the second, and at 15:34 into the second.

The Juniors forced Palm Beach's netminders to work all game long, finishing with 63 shots and forcing 52 saves. David Kutnar made 29 stops and Adam Silverstein made 23. Tampa Bay stifled the Hawks' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Juniors surpassed their usual scoring output this season. This season, Tampa Bay averages 5.0 goals per contest.

Tampa Bay additionally got points from Jesse Bafia, who also registered one goal and four assists and Brendan Nicholson, who also tallied one goal and three assists. Dylan Longo also scored for Tampa Bay. Other players who recorded assists for Tampa Bay were Nicholas Frankich, who had two, Christian Aunspaugh, who had three, and Kurt Williams, Jonathan Hall, JC Bradley, and Austin Teall, who contributed one a piece.

Palm Beach's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three Tampa Bay power plays. The Hawks did not reach the goal total they have come to expect this season. Palm Beach puts an average of 2.9 pucks into the net per game.

The Juniors' Kyle Gertz stopped 18 shots out of the 18 that he faced. Tampa Bay incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. The Hawks incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
