Philadelphia earns hard-fought 1-0 win over NY AppleCore

The game between the Philadelphia Revolution and the NY AppleCore Minor B proved to be an even match, as Philadelphia took home the victory by scoring only once in a 1-0 win.

The goal was unassisted.

NY AppleCore's power play was ineffective against the Revolution's penalty kill, which allowed zero goals while shorthanded.

Philadelphia was paced by Alex Dyer, who grabbed one goal. Dyer scored 15:28 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Philadelphia.

The Revolution's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on six NY AppleCore power plays. Philadelphia was held below its usual level of production. The Revolution average 5.0 goals per game.

The Minor B could not produce up to they normal offensive output. NY AppleCore puts an average of 3.6 pucks into the net per game.

Jared Burch rejected 22 shots on goal for Philadelphia. The Revolution incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Justin Kapelmaster recorded 17 saves for the Minor B. NY AppleCore ended with 27 minutes in penalty time with one minor and one major. For the Minor B, Nolan Pues was ejected from the game.
