Suffolk holds on for 3-2 win against Jersey Wildcats

Jersey Wildcats tried its best to erase a two-goal deficit, but the Suffolk PAL would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 3-2.

Suffolk made the score 3-1 on a goal by Evan Schwartz at 13:20 in the second period, and Jersey Wildcats got as close as 3-2 when Edward Ziegenfuss scored 1:28 into the third period.

The PAL were led by Schwartz, who had one goal.

Jersey Wildcats was unable to stop Suffolk from sending pucks towards the net, and the PAL eventually piled up 32 shots on goal.

Nicholas Mangone also scored for Suffolk. In addition, Suffolk received assists from Andrew Cozzi, Benjamin Sorkin, Christopher Seeback, Joseph Duszak, and Christopher Stemke, who each chipped in one.

Jersey Wildcats forced Suffolk goalie Daniel Potter to work between the pipes, taking 31 shots.

Jersey Wildcats also got a goal from Max Vorob as well. Other players who recorded assists for Jersey Wildcats were Zachary Chamberlain, Ryan Strapp, and Brandon Crawley, who contributed one a piece.

Daniel Potter made 29 saves for the PAL on 31 shots. Suffolk incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Grant Perry rejected 29 shots on goal for Jersey Wildcats. Jersey Wildcats incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
