Maksymum rips Jersey Hitmen, 6-2Ice Vault Rink Sun, Oct 21, 2012 Story by Narrative Science.
The Maksymum Junior Hockey (Rochester) were firing on all cylinders against Jersey Hitmen, and when the final buzzer sounded Junior Hockey (Rochester) emerged with a 6-2 win. Michael Whitehair was all over the ice for Maksymum, as he tallied one goal and two assists in the win. Whitehair scored on the power play 8:43 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Maksymum. A cross checking penalty on Rory Garlasco had put the Junior Hockey (Rochester) on the power play. Kevin DiMagno picked up the assist. Maksymum forced Jersey Hitmen's netminders to work without much rest, ripping 31 shots and forcing 25 saves. Kollyn Jones made 16 stops and Ryan Glander made nine. The Junior Hockey (Rochester) surpassed their usual scoring output this season. This season, Maksymum averages 3.9 goals per contest. Maksymum also got points from Dylan Versage, who also finished with two goals and one assist to lead the team in points and Seth Giles, who also grabbed one goal and one assist.
