Three periods of regulation and an overtime session were not enough to settle matters as the Philadelphia Revolution defeated the Connecticut Oilers in a shootout 3-2 (1-0 SO).

Philadelphia stifled Connecticut's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Revolution's offense rang up 36 shots on the Oilers' net.

Philadelphia was helped by Justin Goldstein, who registered one goal. Goldstein scored 10:35 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Philadelphia. William Hayden provided the assist. Philadelphia also got a goal from Ross Asroff as well. Other players who recorded assists for Philadelphia were Ethan Weiss and Taylor Glanding, who each chipped in one.

Connecticut was helped by Tommy Green, who had one goal. Green scored 4:05 into the second period to make the score 1-1. Gilson Jack assisted on the tally. David Landau also scored for Connecticut. More assists for Connecticut came via Garay Jake, who had one.

Griffin Strain made 23 saves for the Revolution on 25 shots. Philadelphia incurred 16 minutes in penalty time with three minors. Gryphon Richardson recorded 33 saves for the Oilers. Connecticut incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with two minors.
