James Martello was all over the ice for Jersey Hitmen, as he tallied two goals and one assist in Jersey Hitmen's 4-1 win over the Maksymum Junior Hockey (Rochester). Martello scored at 18:50 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Jersey Hitmen and again while 6:07 into the second to make the score 2-0 Jersey Hitmen.Jersey Hitmen's Ryan Glander was a brick wall in net, as he came up with 29 saves and let only one puck past him. Glander certainly lowered his goals against average, which was 2.18 entering the contest. Jersey Hitmen forced Maksymum's netminders to work all game long, ripping 40 shots and forcing 36 saves. Jake Bryniarski made 23 stops and Ian Sylves made 13. Jersey Hitmen stifled the Junior Hockey (Rochester)'s power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Jersey Hitmen also got points from Matt Langlois, who also tallied one goal and one assist. Rory Garlasco also scored for Jersey Hitmen. Other players who recorded assists for Jersey Hitmen were Sean Johnson, who had two and Cory Sala, Eddie Coxe, Cody Calcagno, and Joe Campisano, who contributed one a piece.
