Teall leads Tampa Bay over Hampton Roads, 10-1

Austin Teall was all over the ice for the Tampa Bay Juniors, as he tallied one goal and two assists in Tampa Bay's 10-1 win over the Hampton Roads Whalers.Teall got on the board by slotting home a goal 23:15 into the first period to make the score 2-1 Tampa Bay. Kurt Williams assisted on the tally. Teall dished an assist on Brent Barber's goal that made the score 1-0 Tampa Bay at 1:20 into the first period. He added another helper on Ryan Odgers' goal that made the score 5-1 Tampa Bay at 9:49 into the second period.
The Juniors made Whalers' goalies to work without much rest, launching 32 shots and forcing 22 saves. Taylor Brost made 22 stops and Brett Fordham made zero. Tampa Bay stifled Hampton Roads' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Juniors outdid their season average for goals scored. Tampa Bay averages 4.7 goals per game.
Tampa Bay also got points from Barber, who also grabbed two goals and two assists, Odgers, who also racked up one goal and two assists, and Roope Hintz, who also tallied two goals and two assists to lead the team in points. Others who scored for Tampa Bay included JC Bradley, who had two and Jonathan Hall and Ed Kawczak, who each put in one. In addition, Tampa Bay received assists from Christian Aunspaugh, who had one and Nicholas Reed, who had three.
The Whalers could not produce up to they normal offensive output. Hampton Roads puts an average of 4.2 pucks into the net per game.
The Whalers were led by Jonathon Jones, who scored the team's only goal. Jones scored 6:18 into the first period to make the score 1-1.
Kyle Gertz recorded 24 saves for the Juniors. Tampa Bay incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Hampton Roads incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
