Philadelphia downs Suffolk, 4-1

Kyle Crane registered one point to lead the Philadelphia Revolution to a 4-1 victory over the Suffolk PAL.

Philadelphia forced its penalty killing units to work especially hard during the game, picking up six minors and two majors for 42 minutes in penalty time. The Revolution had been averaging 23.0 minutes in penalties per game. Philadelphia excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances. The Revolution did not challenge the opposing netminder, only getting 14 shots on net to force 10 saves. The defensemen of Philadelphia were also effective in Suffolk's zone, and came away with three goals.

Philadelphia also got a goal from Donald Willier as well. More assists for Philadelphia came via William Hayden, who had two and Ross Asroff, Travis Kauffman, Daniel Coley, Joseph Keenan, and Justin Goldstein, who contributed one a piece.

The PAL's offense operated below they season average. Suffolk puts an average of 3.1 pucks into the net per game.

The PAL were led by Donato Cipriano, who scored the team's only goal. Cipriano scored 6:30 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Suffolk.

Justin Kirk recorded 18 saves for the Revolution. Philadelphia registered one goal on five power play opportunities. Suffolk's Peter Fosso stopped 10 shots out of the 14 that he faced. The PAL ended with 38 minutes in penalty time with four minors and two majors. For Suffolk, Joseph Walsh was ejected from the game.
