DeLezenne's hat trick boosts Florida Eels over East Coast, 7-6

Joshua DeLezenne netted a hat trick to lead Florida Eels over the East Coast Eagles, 7-6.

DeLezenne's first goal came 4:02 into the first period. He then added goals at 7:06 into the first and at 2:56 into the second.

Florida Eels also got a goal from Ryan Deese as well. More assists for Florida Eels came via Michael Viera, who had one and Brian Dennerlein and Jonathan Carlson, who contributed two a piece.

Florida Eels was unable to stop East Coast from sending pucks towards the net, and the Eagles eventually piled up 35 shots on goal. East Coast bested its season scoring average. The Eagles average 3.7 goals per game.

East Coast was led by Matt Burleson, who had two goals and three assists. Burleson scored the first of his two goals at 9:25 into the first period to make the score 3-1 Florida Eels. Stephen Fazzino provided the assist. Burleson's next tally made the score 4-4 with 19:25 left in the second period. Shane Selan picked up the assist. East Coast also got points from Selan, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. East Coast also had goals scored by Graff Richards, who had one and Sam Banasiewcz, who had two. In addition, East Coast received assists from Thomas Gilmartin, who had one and Jacob Weldon and Kyle Levere, who contributed two a piece.

Ryley Hynes rejected 29 shots on goal for Florida Eels. Florida Eels totaled 17 minutes in penalty time with one minor and one major and went 0-for-2 on the power play. For Florida Eels, Max Mazzullo was ejected from the game. The Eagles' starting goalie, Cory Lignelli, made 18 saves and finished with the loss before he was taken out in favor of Roman Riselvato, who stopped zero shots. East Coast incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
