The Atlanta Knights beat the Space Coast Hurricanes, 2-0, in a contest where the winning goal was scored in the first period but the game remained close throughout. Bradley Harley provided Atlanta with the game-winning tally when he scored 4:27 into the the first period.The Knights were led by Harley, who racked up one goal. Atlanta put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Space Coast to score on any of its four power plays. The Knights could not produce up to they normal offensive output. Atlanta averages 4.8 goals per game. The Knights kept the Hurricanes' goalie busy throughout the game, and Patrick Tepedino made 42 saves on 44 shots. Atlanta also got a goal from Zachary Egan as well. More assists for Atlanta came via Jack Trischett, who had one. Space Coast's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on five Atlanta power plays. The Hurricanes found themselves stymied offensively, and got off a mere 10 shots against Atlanta's defense. Lucas Thurston made 10 saves for the Knights on 10 shots. Atlanta incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Space Coast incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
