Florida Junior Blades relied on the scoring touch of Daniel Thompson, who netted two goals, to beat the Frederick Freeze, 5-1.

Thompson's tallies came at 23:55 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Florida Junior Blades and 5:45 into the second to make the score 3-0 Florida Junior Blades.
