Joshua Koerner lifted Florida Junior Blades to a 4-2 victory with a hat trick against the Brewster Bulldogs.

Koerner notched his first tally 13:53 into the first period. He then added goals at 1:00 into the second and at 24:11 into the second.

Florida Junior Blades kept Brewster's goalie busy throughout the game, and Brandon Belz made 37 saves on 41 shots.

Florida Junior Blades also got a goal from Michael Haskins as well. Other players who recorded assists for Florida Junior Blades were Alec Koenen and Max Cobb, who each chipped in one.

The Bulldogs were helped by Peter Petrino, who finished with one goal. Petrino scored on the power play 18:16 into the first period to make the score 2-1 Florida Junior Blades. An elbowing penalty on Koenen had put Brewster on the power play. Jonathan Lovorn picked up the assist. Michael Benincasa also scored for Brewster. More assists for Brewster came via Sean Henderson, Brad Alexander, and David Rubenstein, who contributed one a piece.

Florida Junior Blades' Jacob Carter stopped 16 shots out of the 18 that he faced. Florida Junior Blades incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. The Bulldogs incurred 16 minutes in penalty time with three minors.
