Farrell leads Bay State to shutout victory over Buffalo

Matthew Farrell recorded a shutout against the Buffalo Stars as the Bay State Breakers picked up a 5-0 win.
Bay State's penalty kill excelled, as the Breakers gave up zero goals despite allowing six power plays.
Bay State was led by Christopher Perry, who grabbed one goal and one assist. Perry scored 1:28 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Bay State. Kevin Sheehan assisted on the tally.
The Breakers stifled Buffalo's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Bay State forced the Stars goalie Lawson Fenton to work between the pipes, taking 43 shots. The Breakers' defensemen played an important role in the offense, chipping in two goals. Bay State's penalty killing units received substantial work throughout the game as the Breakers finished with 24 penalty minutes.
