NY AppleCore clinches tight 1-0 victory against Junior Bruins

The game between the NY AppleCore Minor B and Junior Bruins proved to be an even match, as NY AppleCore took home the victory by scoring only once in a 1-0 win.

Cameron Giertych's tally was assisted by Nicholas Mardirossian.

The Minor B were sparked by Giertych, who had one goal. Giertych scored 7:53 into the second period to make the score 1-0 NY AppleCore. Mardirossian assisted on the tally.

NY AppleCore put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Junior Bruins to score on any of its four power plays. The Minor B featured an improved defense during the game. NY AppleCore averages 2.3 goals allowed per game.

Junior Bruins' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three NY AppleCore power plays. Junior Bruins did not reach the goal total it has come to expect this season. Junior Bruins puts an average of 3.5 pucks into the net per game.
