Bay State downs Maksymum, 5-2

Nicholas Russo had one point to lead the Bay State Breakers to a 5-2 victory over the Maksymum Junior Hockey (Rochester).

Bay State made Junior Hockey (Rochester)'s goaltenders to work without much rest, firing 39 shots and forcing 34 saves. Jake Bryniarski made three stops and Ian Sylves made 31.

Bay State additionally got points from Ryan ODonnell, who also finished with two goals and one assist to lead the team in points. Christopher Perry also scored for Bay State. In addition, Bay State received assists from Collin Vanderveen, Gavin Yates, John Sheehan, and Christopher Duffy, who contributed one a piece.

Maksymum could not produce up to it normal offensive output. The Junior Hockey (Rochester) average 4.4 goals per game. More assists for Maksymum came via Daniel Goldstein, who had one.

Paul LaPlante made 30 saves for Bay State on 32 shots. The Breakers incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Maksymum incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
