Zachary Capco was all over the ice for the Tampa Bay Juniors, as he tallied two goals in Tampa Bay's 8-4 win over Florida Eels. Capco's tallies came at 21 seconds into the third period to make the score 3-3 and 6:38 into the third to make the score 5-4 Tampa Bay.The Juniors were forced to rely heavily on their penalty kill unit throughout the game, as they racked up 16 penalty minutes. Tampa Bay additionally got points from Roope Hintz, who also racked up one goal and two assists and JC Bradley, who also tallied one goal and two assists to lead the team in points. Tampa Bay also had goals scored by Brendan Nicholson, who had two and Jonathan Hall and Brent Barber, who scored one goal each. In addition, Tampa Bay received assists from Raven Woodring, who had two and Dylan Longo, Ryan Odgers, Tucker Barone, Nicholas Mattone, and Christian Aunspaugh, who each chipped in one. Florida Eels struggled to stay out of the sin bin throughout the game as it finished the game with 16 penalty minutes for seven opposing power plays. Florida Eels was led by Brandon Hotaling, who had one goal and one assist. Hotaling scored on the power play 6:10 into the third period to make the score 4-4. Florida Eels earned a power play opportunity when Mason Bates was put in the box for cross checking. Max Mazzullo provided the assist. Florida Eels also got a goal from Brian Dennerlein as well. More assists for Florida Eels came via Scott Perkins and Patrick Daniels, who contributed one a piece. Kyle Gertz rejected 20 shots on goal for Tampa Bay. David Bryant recorded 19 saves for Florida Eels. Florida Eels registered two goals on seven power play opportunities.
