Junior Bruins downs Jersey Wildcats, 5-2

Junior Bruins won 5-2 over Jersey Wildcats.

Junior Bruins excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances. Junior Bruins forced Jersey Wildcats goalie Gennaro Anzevino to work between the pipes, taking 34 shots.

Junior Bruins was helped by Daniel Pastl, who registered one goal. Pastl scored 5:31 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Junior Bruins. Benjamin Piecz assisted on the tally. Junior Bruins also got points from Michael Kantorski, who also finished with one goal and one assist and Zachary Byczko, who also tallied one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Kyle Carlson also scored for Junior Bruins. Other players who recorded assists for Junior Bruins were Bryan Carter, Paul Martone, Matthew Brett, Ryan OToole, and Anthony Galloway, who each chipped in one.

Jersey Wildcats kept Junior Bruins' goalie busy throughout the game, and Ryan Venditti made 29 saves on 31 shots.

Jersey Wildcats was helped by Cory DeCosta, who had one goal. DeCosta scored 11:17 into the second period to make the score 3-1 Junior Bruins. Edward Ziegenfuss picked up the assist. Jersey Wildcats also got a goal from Austin Nye as well. In addition, Jersey Wildcats received assists from Connor Hoarty, Ryan Strapp, and Max Vorob, who contributed one a piece.

Junior Bruins incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Anzevino recorded 29 saves for Jersey Wildcats. Jersey Wildcats incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
