Jersey Wildcats, which led by three goals at one point, survived a comeback attempt by Jersey Wildcats and clinched a 4-2 victory. Jersey Wildcats led by three goals at one point and ended with the victory. More assists for Jersey Wildcats came via William Hoer and Erik Andersson, who contributed one a piece and Max Vorob, Austin Nye, and Cory DeCosta, who each chipped in two. Portland's offense rang up 32 shots on Jersey Wildcats' net. The Jr Pirates were helped by Ryan Locke, who racked up one goal. Locke scored 24:43 into the second period to make the score 4-2 Jersey Wildcats. Nick Robinson assisted on the tally. Portland also got a goal from Nicholas Whitten as well. Grant Perry recorded 30 saves for Jersey Wildcats. Jersey Wildcats incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Portland's Boucher stopped 39 shots out of the 43 that he faced. The Jr Pirates incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
