The Missoula Maulers had a three-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 6-0 win over the Bozeman Icedogs.

Missoula was sparked by Dustin Pierce, who finished with one goal. Pierce scored 3:48 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Missoula. Tyler Zandhuisen picked up the assist.

The Maulers kept Bozeman's goalie busy throughout the game, and Jude Hall made 54 saves on 60 shots.

Missoula also got points from Brett Mathews, who also grabbed one goal and two assists to lead the team in points. Missoula also had goals scored by Zach Paisley, who had two and Tyler Cosentino and Cody Ogrin, who each put in one. In addition, Missoula received assists from Anders Nord, who had two and Paigg Maul, Donovan Mattfeldt, Jordan Wheatley, and Viktor Steenson, who contributed one a piece.

The Icedogs did not challenge the opposing netminder, only getting 13 shots on net to force 13 saves.

Missoula's Mckinlee Baum stopped 13 shots out of the 13 that he faced. The Maulers incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Bozeman incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
