Campbellford downs Deseronto, 6-3

The Deseronto Storm fell to the Campbellford Rebels, 6-3.

Deseronto was unable to stop Campbellford from sending pucks towards the net, and the Rebels eventually piled up 78 shots on goal. Campbellford had trouble converting on the power play advantage, managing just one goal on 13 chances.

The Rebels were helped by jeremy dorghty, who had one goal and one assist. Dorghty scored 12:01 into the third period to make the score 5-3 Campbellford. Seamus McDougall provided the assist. Campbellford additionally got points from Ryan Crowley, who also racked up one goal and one assist, Hunter Fargey, who also registered one goal and one assist, and Tim Pandachuck, who also tallied one goal and one assist. Campbellford also got a goal from Josh Adams as well. Other players who recorded assists for Campbellford were Mitch Gibson, Connor Turland, and Dylan Baxter, who contributed one a piece.

The Storm racked up the penalties in the contest, and ended with nine minors and two majors for 68 minutes in penalty time. The total exceeded the 25.0 minutes per game Deseronto had been spending in the box. The Storm forced Campbellford goalie Trevor Green to work between the pipes, taking 38 shots.

Deseronto was helped by Alex McConnell, who had one goal. McConnell scored 9:31 into the second period to make the score 4-2 Campbellford. Brandon Turner also scored for Deseronto. In addition, Deseronto received assists from Brandon Torres, Jared Boomhower, and Corey Prince, who each chipped in one.

Trevor Green made 35 saves for the Rebels on 38 shots. Campbellford ended with nine minutes in penalty time with two minors and one major. The Rebels ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Baxter was ejected from the game. amos lloyd recorded 72 saves for the Storm. Deseronto registered zero goals on one power play opportunities. For the Storm, Conrad Charlton and Jesse Burtch were ejected from the contest.
