The Deseronto Storm had trouble finding ways to stop the Campbellford Rebels, which beat Storm, 7-2.

The Storm struggled to stay out of the sin bin throughout the game as they finished the game with 40 penalty minutes for eight opposing power plays.

Deseronto was led by Jared Boomhower, who racked up one goal and one assist. Boomhower scored 4:59 into the second period to make the score 3-1 Campbellford. Alex McConnell also scored for Deseronto. More assists for Deseronto came via Cody Stapley, who had one.

The Rebels' Cole Mahoney stopped 20 shots out of the 22 that he faced. For Campbellford, Dylan Baxter was ejected from the game. Dan Corrigan made 36 saves for the Storm on 43 shots.
