Glacier Nationals rips Bozeman Icedogs, 7-3

Glacier Nationals had a four-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 7-3 win over Bozeman Icedogs.

Paul Kinder had one goal and two assists to lead Glacier Nationals. Kinder scored 14:31 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Glacier Nationals. Brandon Vitale assisted on the tally.

Glacier Nationals pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 16 penalty minutes.

Glacier Nationals excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in seven chances. Glacier Nationals forced Bozeman Icedogs goalie Joseph Roberts to work between the pipes, taking 53 shots.

Glacier Nationals also got points from Tucker Spooner, who also had one goal and one assist. Others who scored for Glacier Nationals included Logan Hulse, who had one and Austin Givens and Sebastian Adnell, who scored two goals each. Other players who recorded assists for Glacier Nationals were Kyle Watne, who had two and Dustin Parman, Jackson Schroeder, and Joe Dixon, who contributed one a piece.

Bozeman Icedogs stifled Glacier Nationals' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with two goals.

Bozeman Icedogs also got a goal from Tyler Lloyd as well. In addition, Bozeman Icedogs received assists from Jonathon Benavides, Colt Milton, Michael Kurfess, and Nik Manory, who each chipped in one.

Dillon Caffrey recorded 23 saves for Glacier Nationals. Glacier Nationals registered zero goals on six power play opportunities. Joseph Roberts made 46 saves for Bozeman Icedogs on 53 shots. Bozeman Icedogs incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
