Toronto Bulldogs wins tough contest against BC Junior Canucks, 5-3

The game between Toronto Bulldogs and BC Junior Canucks was tight through all 60 minutes, but in the end Toronto Bulldogs emerged with a 5-3 win.

Each team kept the other at bay throughout the game, and Ryan ORourke secured the win for Toronto Bulldogs with a goal in the third period.

Tyler Tullio was all over the ice for Toronto Bulldogs, as he tallied one goal and two assists in the win. Tullio scored on the power play 13:47 into the third period to make the score 4-2 Toronto Bulldogs. Toronto Bulldogs had taken the advantage when BC Junior Canucks' Ryan Helliwell got sent off for interference. Logan Morrison provided the assist.

Toronto Bulldogs additionally got points from Cole Perfetti, who also tallied two goals and one assist and ORourke, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Toronto Bulldogs also got a goal from Cole OHara as well.

Toronto Bulldogs' defense shut down BC Junior Canucks' forwards for much of the game, and BC Junior Canucks got off only 12 shots during the contest. BC Junior Canucks' defense let in more goals than it usually has this year. BC Junior Canucks averages 2.5 goals allowed per game.

BC Junior Canucks was helped by Kalen Szeto, who finished with one goal. Szeto scored on the power play 11:00 into the first period to make the score 1-1. BC Junior Canucks had gotten the advantage when Toronto Bulldogs' Isaac MacLeod was sent off for tripping. Cole Shepard picked up the assist. Garett Valk also scored for BC Junior Canucks. In addition, BC Junior Canucks received assists from Jordan Si, Ben King, Robbie Fromm-Delorne, and Matthew Smith, who contributed one a piece.

Marco Constantini rejected nine shots on goal for Toronto Bulldogs. Toronto Bulldogs incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Smith recorded 21 saves for BC Junior Canucks. BC Junior Canucks incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
