Toronto Pro Hockey tried its best to erase a two-goal deficit, but Winnipeg Junior Jets would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 2-1. Ty Thorpe was all over the ice for Winnipeg Junior Jets, as he had two goals in the win. Winnipeg Junior Jets excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances. In addition, Winnipeg Junior Jets received assists from Brady Whitely and Ty Smilanic, who each chipped in one. Toronto Pro Hockey found itself stymied offensively, and got off a mere 13 shots against Winnipeg Junior Jets' defense. Other players who recorded assists for Toronto Pro Hockey were Nicholas Desantis and Wyatt Johnston, who contributed one a piece.
