Yanik Laliberte was all over the ice for the Hawkesbury Hawks, as he tallied two goals in Hawkesbury's 4-1 win over the Gloucester Rangers. Laliberte's tallies came at 12:33 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Hawkesbury and 5:11 into the third to make the score 2-0 Hawkesbury.Hawkesbury also got points from Zach Car, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Hawkesbury also got a goal from Travis Meyer as well. In addition, Hawkesbury received assists from Ryan Kruss, Brandon Bussey, and Brett Varrin, who contributed one a piece and Carl Faucher and Pietro Antonelli, who each chipped in two. Gloucester stifled the Hawks' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Rangers were led by Matt Rosebrook, who scored the team's only goal. Rosebrook scored 13:30 into the third period to make the score 3-1 Hawkesbury. Keegan Rowe picked up the assist. Carmine Guerriero made 21 saves for Hawkesbury on 22 shots. The Hawks incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Dylan BrindAmour rejected 20 shots on goal for Gloucester. The Rangers incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
