Kemptville completes comeback, beats Hawkesbury, 6-4North Grenville Municipal 1 Sun, Dec 02, 2012 Story by Narrative Science.
Undaunted by a three-goal deficit, the Kemptville 73s battled back to claim a 6-4 victory over the Hawkesbury Hawks. Kemptville never led in the game until netting the game winner. The 73s was down 3-0 after a goal by Hawkesbury's Brandon Bussey at 12:06 in the first period. Kemptville knotted things up at 4-4 on a power play goal by Shane Snow at 7:38 in the third period. The 73s scored the game winner at 16:21 in the third period on a goal by Snow. Kemptville got the win on the strength of a great game by Joey House, who had two goals and one assist. House scored the first of his two goals on the power play at 19:22 into the second period to make the score 4-3 Hawkesbury. The 73s had taken the advantage when the Hawks' Holden Anderson got sent off for hooking. Patrick Crampton assisted on the tally.
