Boston Jr Bruins and Detroit Red Wings could not settle their match and fought to a 3-3 tie.

Boston Jr Bruins capitalized on Detroit Red Wings' penalties, netting two goals while skating with a man advantage.

Boston Jr Bruins was helped by Matt Powers, who had one goal. Powers scored on the power play 7:34 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Detroit Red Wings. Boston Jr Bruins had gotten the advantage when Detroit Red Wings' Kienan Draper was sent off for hooking. Alex Nazarian picked up the assist. Boston Jr Bruins also got goals from Colin Graf, who also added one assist to lead the team in points. Boston Jr Bruins also got a goal from Jacob Waterman as well. In addition, Boston Jr Bruins received assists from Matt Beniers, who had two.

Detroit Red Wings was helped by Carter Mazur, who finished with one goal. Mazur scored 7:47 into the second period to make the score 3-1 Detroit Red Wings. DJ Dixon and Travis Shoudy also scored for Detroit Red Wings. Assists for Detroit Red Wings came via Owen Michaels and Mark Estapa, who each chipped in one.

Boston Jr Bruins' Mason Kucenski stopped 14 shots out of the 17 that he faced. Boston Jr Bruins incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Xavier Medina rejected 18 shots on goal for Detroit Red Wings. Detroit Red Wings incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
