A hat trick by James Tyminski was the highlight in Pirates' 7-2 win against the St. Catharines Falcons. Tyminski got on the scoresheet 17:05 into the second period. He then added goals at 1:43 into the third and at 11:43 into the third.The win moved the Port Colborne Pirates to down 2-1 in the best of seven series. Port Colborne also got points from Bryan Komasara, who also tallied one goal and one assist. Port Colborne also got a goal from Carson Minor as well. In addition, Port Colborne received assists from Michael Sharp, Thomas Sestini, Jordan Warren, Drake Heart, and Dima Lavrenov, who each chipped in one and Nick Schiro and Zach DeConcilys, who contributed two a piece. Port Colborne was unable to stop St. Catharines from sending pucks towards the net, and the Falcons eventually piled up 37 shots on goal. Real Cormier rejected 35 shots on goal for the Pirates. Port Colborne incurred 36 minutes in penalty time with eight minors. Brad Pope took the loss and made 12 saves before being replaced by Michael Gallardi who made eight saves. St. Catharines totaled 53 minutes in penalty time with nine minors and one major and went 2-for-6 on the power play. For the Falcons, Brad Col and Kenny Bradford were ejected from the contest.
