Tyler Beasley had four goals to lead Rochester Ice Hawks to a 7-1 victory over Missoula Maulers.

Beasley's first goal came 3:37 into the first period. He then added goals at 11:31 into the first, at 18:03 into the first, and at 19:23 into the second.

Rochester Ice Hawks' Karel Popper was a brick wall in net, as he came up with 35 saves and let only one puck past him. Despite the solid performance, Popper will actually see his goals against average rise, as it stood at 1.0 entering the contest.

Rochester Ice Hawks' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on five Missoula Maulers power plays.

Rochester Ice Hawks also got points from Antonio Baccari, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Rochester Ice Hawks also got a goal from Alex Haygood as well. More assists for Rochester Ice Hawks came via Shaun Lymer, T.J. Sneath, Ryan Skalski, and Brandt Soukup, who each chipped in one.

Missoula Maulers put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Rochester Ice Hawks to score on any of its four power plays. Missoula Maulers' offense rang up 36 shots on Rochester Ice Hawks' net.

Missoula Maulers was led by Dustin Pierce, who scored the team's only goal. Pierce scored 12:49 into the first period to make the score 3-1 Rochester Ice Hawks. Paxton Bell assisted on the tally.
