Billings Bulls' Daniel Chang had a big offensive game, scoring one goal and contributing two assists in his team's 6-3 win over Northern Lights.

Chang beat Nick Heimer with a shot 1:19 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Billings Bulls. Paul Hoffman assisted on the tally. Chang dished an assist on Hoffman's goal that made the score 5-1 Billings Bulls at 5:15 into the third period. He added another helper on Hoffman's goal that made the score 6-2 Billings Bulls at 13:02 into the third period.

Billings Bulls also got points from Hoffman, who also registered two goals and one assist to lead the team in points, Jarret Stark, who also grabbed one goal and one assist, and Colby Spoonemore, who also had one goal and one assist. Billings Bulls also got a goal from Ryan Thompson as well. In addition, Billings Bulls received assists from Nikolas Nasby, who had one and Sawyer Jacobson, who had two.

Northern Lights put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Billings Bulls to score on any of its three power plays. Northern Lights kept Billings Bulls' goalie busy throughout the game, and Nic Wackerly made 40 saves on 43 shots.

Northern Lights was helped by Dylan Blankenship, who finished with one goal. Blankenship scored 10:26 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Billings Bulls. Corbin Belling picked up the assist. Eric Shand also scored for Northern Lights. Other players who recorded assists for Northern Lights were Gordon Wells, who had two and Ben Hull, Dominic Shuttleworth, and Kevin Kassulat, who each chipped in one.
