Bremner's hat trick boosts Knoxville over Mississippi RiverKings, 6-3

Dan Bremner lifted the Knoxville Ice Bears to a 6-3 victory with a hat trick against Mississippi RiverKings.

Bremner notched his first tally 8:30 into the first period. He then added goals at 11:14 into the third and at 19:54 into the third.

The win by Knoxville clinched the best of three series at 2-1.

The Ice Bears excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances.

Knoxville also got points from Emery Olauson, who also registered one goal and one assist. Knoxville also got a goal from Eric Satim as well. In addition, Knoxville received assists from Eric Slais, who had two, Kevin Swider, who had three, and Brad Pawlowski, Ricky Helmbrecht, Kyle VanderMale, Tyler Fletcher, and David Segal, who each chipped in one.

Knoxville was unable to stop Mississippi RiverKings from sending pucks towards the net, and Mississippi RiverKings eventually piled up 44 shots on goal.

Mississippi RiverKings was led by Deven Stillar, who racked up two goals and one assist. Stillar scored the first of his two goals at 9:11 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Ken Selby picked up the assist. Stillar's next tally made the score 4-2 Knoxville with 15:02 left in the third period. Kyle Lundale provided the assist. Mississippi RiverKings additionally got points from Lundale, who also tallied one goal and one assist.

Kyle Rank rejected 41 shots on goal for the Ice Bears. Knoxville incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Mississippi RiverKings' Scott Darling stopped 16 shots out of the 21 that he faced. Mississippi RiverKings incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
