Dubé's hat trick boosts Tölzer Löwen over MEC Halle 04, 5-3

MEC Halle 04 could not stop Tölzer Löwen's Yanick Dubé, who tallied a hat trick in a 5-3 win.

Dubé notched his first tally five seconds into the first period. He then added goals at 18:27 into the first and at 9:29 into the second.

The win gave Tölzer Löwen a 1-0 lead in the best of five series.

Tölzer Löwen also got a goal from Christian Urban as well. More assists for Tölzer Löwen came via Anton Prommersberger, Thomas (FL) Merl, and Pascal Sternkopf, who each chipped in one and Johannes (FL) Sedlmayr and Christoph Fischhaber, who contributed three a piece.

MEC Halle 04 was helped by Sebastian Lehmann, who finished with two goals. Lehmann scored the first of his two goals at 4:20 into the second period to make the score 3-2 Tölzer Löwen. Matthias Schubert provided the assist. Lehmann's next tally made the score 4-3 Tölzer Löwen with 7:19 left in the third period. Nikolaus Meier assisted on the tally. In addition, MEC Halle 04 received assists from Alexander Zille, who had two and Troy Bigam and Florian Eichelkraut, who each chipped in one.

Tölzer Löwen incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. MEC Halle 04 incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
