Huge game by Campe boosts Helena over Missoula, 7-3

Theo Campe had two goals and one assist to lead Helena to a 7-3 victory over Missoula.

Campe found the back of the net 15:49 into the second period to make the score 5-3 Helena and again while on the power play 2:20 into the third to make the score 6-3 Helena.

In a losing effort, Missoula was paced by Zach Paisley, who tallied two goals. Paisley scored the first of his two goals at 8:16 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Alan Maul assisted on the tally. Paisley's next tally made the score 4-3 Helena with 11:31 left in the second period. A checking from behind penalty on Alex DeWitz had put Missoula on the power play. Jimmy Morris picked up the assist.

Helena forced Missoula goalie McKinlee Baum to work between the pipes, taking 53 shots.

Helena additionally got points from Wyatt Winfield, who also registered one goal and one assist, Trevor Tracy, who also had one goal and two assists, and Balasz Goz, who also registered one goal and one assist. Helena also got a goal from Ben Henne as well. More assists for Helena came via Michael Sullivan, who had three, Drew Ingram and Logan Hawgood, who contributed one a piece, and William Kapp and Tyler Narsing, who each chipped in two.

Missoula stifled Helena's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.

Anders Nord also scored for Missoula. Other players who recorded assists for Missoula were CJ Morrison, Brett Mathews, and Cory Shafer, who contributed one a piece.

Jett Salinas took the win and made 14 saves before being replaced by Trey Flesch who made six saves. Helena incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. McKinlee Baum made 46 saves for Missoula on 53 shots. Missoula incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
